Real Estate in a Time of Covid-19

Edmonton Empty Street

The Government of Alberta has deemed real estate agent services, and services that provide access to credit, stocks or other forms of liquidity or finance to individuals, groups or businesses to be essential services. This exempts licensed real estate and mortgage professionals from restrictions during the COVID-19 outbreak, as long as they follow all public health guidelines, including physical distancing measures.

To our friends, families, and valued clients,

We wanted to send a message out to all of you letting you know we are here in any capacity to help and offer guidance during this challenging time.

When it comes to real estate during this time any conversation with us is always at no fee.

Sometimes, it’s as simple as connecting you to the right resource that we may have a connection with: such as lawyers, accountants, inspectors, mortgage brokers, lenders and contractors.

Real estate has many moving pieces and things are changing daily, but it’s important to always get reliable answers and contact referrals.

The real estate market will be challenged, and we are aware of the current impacts. Some of these impacts are on safety and how people are engaging with real estate.

We want to assure all of you that we follow strict protocols from our real estate board and the government to ensure pre-screening questions, physical distancing and sanitization to keep both buyers and sellers safe.

Below, you will find helpful links to any resources you may require, and as always, if you need anything at all, please reach out to us! We are in this together!

Essential Services

It is important to note that not all essential services are on the front lines but are deemed so by the Government of Alberta. These services are still required to help individuals in need. See the link from our Government on essential service providers in Alberta.
